The Global Medical Society is a medical student organization created to foster sustained interest in global health issues. Our mission is to create alliances with healthcare entities throughout the world and to maximize the influence of allied health students on global health. Our activities include the hosting of guest speakers throughout the year including the establishment of a Global Health Week in the Carver College of Medicine as well as the development of service projects focusing on underserved communities. We welcome students, physicians and faculty from various medical professions to join us in our efforts to improve the quality of health care worldwide.
