Registration open for Health Sciences Research Week poster sessions

Health Sciences Research Week, with events sponsored by the Carver College of Medicine, College of Pharmacy, College of Public Health, Institute for Clinical and Translational Science and VA Health System Research Week, will begin Tuesday, April 22, 2014 and run through Thursday, April 24, 2014 on the health sciences campus of the University of Iowa. This year’s Research Week theme is “Diabetes: Mechanisms and Treatment.”
Registration for the two Research Week poster sessions is currently open here and the final deadline for registration is Monday, March 31, 2014 at 5:00 p.m. There will be two separate poster sessions in the MERF Atrium from 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. on each’s respective day. The competition for graduate, medical and PharmD students will be held Tuesday, April 22, 2014 and the competition for postdoctoral fellows, faculty and staff will be held Wednesday, April 23, 2014.
Between the two sessions, 20 awards of $350 each will be given by the Carver College of Medicine (6), the College of Pharmacy (4), the College of Public Health (3), the Institute for Clinical and Translational Science (4) and the VA Health System (3).
