Franken to share radiology expertise

E.A. Franken, Jr., emeritus professor of radiology at the University of Iowa Carver College of Medicine will present his talk, “The Foundation of Radiology with an emphasis on the University of Iowa,” on November 21, 2013 at 5:30 p.m. in Room 401 of the University of Iowa Hardin Library for the Health Sciences. The talk is sponsored by the University of Iowa History of Medicine Society.
Franken earned his medical degree from the University of Oklahoma and completed his residency in radiology at Indiana University. His clinical and research interests include clinical teleradiology and related health services research, perception in radiology and satisfaction of search in diagnostic radiology.
Today, Franken is a radiologist who specializes in breast imaging and dedicates all of his time to practicing medicine.
