David Meyerholz, DVM, PhD has accepted an invitation to serve on the Editorial Board at The American Journal of Pathology for a three-year renewable term, starting August 1, 2013. The American Journal of Pathology is known as the premier journal in investigative pathology and is the most cited journal in the field of research pathology.Dr. Meyerholz is an Associate Professor of Pathology and serves as Director of the Division of Comparative Pathology. Dr. Meyerholz’s research efforts are currently focused on the study of cystic fibrosis and other lung diseases.The American Journal of Pathology, official journal of the American Society for Investigative Pathology (ASIP) seeks to publish high-quality, original papers on the cellular and molecular biology of disease. The editors accept manuscripts that advance basic and translational knowledge of the pathogenesis, classification, diagnosis, and mechanisms of disease, without preference for a specific analytic method. High priority is given to studies on human disease and relevant experimental models using cellular, molecular, animal, biological, chemical, and immunological approaches in conjunction with morphology.
