Tranel, Damasio paper earns a "10"

Professor Daniel Tranel and Distinguished Adjunct Professors Antonio
Damasio and Hanna Damasio, published a paper which received a rating of
"10 Exceptional" in the Faculty of 1000 Post-Publication Peer Review.
"Persistence of Feelings and Sentience after Bilateral Damage of the Insula"
was published in Cerebral Cortex on April 3, 2012. This paper documents
the ability of a patient to experience emotions and feelings, and to be
sentient and self-aware, despite extensive damage to the brain
structures typically associated with such capacities.
