  • Oct 2009: We received a junior faculty award from the Edward Mallinckrodt Jr Foundation.

  • Mar 2009: We received a Department of Internal Medicine 2009 pilot grant on clinical and translational research.
  • Mar 2009: Our paper "Large-scale analysis of exonized mammalian-wide interspersed repeats (MIRs) in primate genomes" is accepted by Human Molecular Genetics.
  • Dec 2008: Congratulations to Lan Lin for winning an ASBMB (American Society for Biochemistry and Molecular Biology) Postdoctoral Travel Fellowship!
  • Nov 2008: We received a research grant from the National Human Genome Research Institute on "Statistical Analysis of Exon Arrays" (R01-HG004634, to Wing Hung Wong and Yi Xing) .
  • Oct 2008: Seiko Sato joins the lab as a technician. Seiko received her BS in Biology from Cornell University.
