I was born and raised in Houston, Texas, where I graduated from Cinco Ranch High School in 2006. I am currently attending University of Texas at Dallas for my BA degree in biology, with a minor in visual arts. While in undergrad, I conducted research on vagal nerve stimulation towards determining pathways that contribute to cortical expansion. I began in Dr. Karandikar’s lab as part of UT Dallas Green Fellowship program. My work focuses on the mechanisms of suppression mediated by induced regulatory T cells. Outside the lab, I enjoy several activities, such as art, photography, visiting museums, listening to music, martial arts and playing my guitar.
