Emergency Medicine resident named semi-finalist in national CPC competition

Nick Kluesner, a first-year Emergency Medicine Resident mentored by Dr. Dan Miller, has been selected as a semi-finalist for the National Emergency Medicine CPC Competition. The annual resident competition provides a faculty discussant twenty minutes to discuss and evaluate a presented case.

Case submissions are selected for use in the competition with each program allowed only one submission. Participants outline the emergency medical approach that would most effectively diagnose a case as presented by a resident presenter. The competition judging focuses primarily on the discussion and presentation as opposed to correct case diagnosis.
