Mohr appointed to Society for Academic Emergency Medicine Research Committee

Clinical Assistant Professor of Emergency Medicine and Anesthesia, Nicholas M. Mohr, MD has been appointed to the Society for Academic Emergency Medicine (SAEM) research committee. Founded in 1989, SAEM aims to improve the care of acutely ill and injured patients by improving research and education. It attempts to achieve these goals by influencing health policy through a variety of avenues including forums, publications, policy development and inter-organization collaboration.
As a member of the research committee Dr. Mohr, who earned his MD at the University of Iowa in 2006, will be working to implement the strategic objectives of SAEM as directed by SAEM’s Five-Year-Strategic Plan as well as suggestions from SAEM committee chairs and members.
