Five New Residents Join the Department

Jenny Mandell moved here from New York City, which is where she grew up. She obtained her BA in history and literature from Harvard University, completed medical school at NYU and then interned for a year at Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center. Her finace is still living in NYC, so the two of them are racking up the frequent flyer miles!
Elizabeth Vanderah, was born and raised in Iowa City, IA, and is the youngest of 4 daughters. She attended Iowa State University with an undergraduate major in Biology and minor in Dance. She returned to Iowa City to attend medical school and complete her internship. She was married this part summer and her husband is in the first year of his Internal Medicine residency.
Amanda Joy (AJ) Tschetter spent her freshman year of college playing basketball at the University of Wyoming. Although she did not meet her husband Paul until medical school, they were both born and raised in Souix Falls, SD, where their families still live. They were married after their second year of medical school and he is currently an ER resident at Iowa.
Molly Moye is an Atlanta native who is eagerly exploring all that Iowa City has to offer. She attended Cornell University and then medical school at Emory University. She completed her intern year I internal medicine at the University of North Carolina in Chapel Hill. She is very excited to finally be a dermatology resident! Her husband is a writer and is currently getting his M.F.A. in creative writing. She is a dog lover and a foodie.
Megan Noe grew up in Western Springs, IL, a suburb of Chicago. She attended Kalamazoo College and then Tufts University School of Medicine. During medical school, she was awarded a Doris Duke Clinical Research Fellowship and worked in the lab of Janet Fairley, here at the University of Iowa. She enjoys running, teaching spin and outdoor BBQs.
