September 2008

UI Carver College of Medicine Des Moines Senior College Mini Medical School will take place September 9, 16, 23, and 30 in Des Moines, Iowa.

UI Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology Annual Postgraduate Course will take place on September 19, 2008 in Iowa City.

Iowa Medical Society Physician's Golf Challenge will take place in Des Moines, IA on September 22, 2008.

UI Progress in Internal Medicine CME program will be held September 25-26, 2008 in Iowa City.

University of Iowa Homecoming Reunion Weekend will take place in Iowa City September 26 - 27, 2008 for the MD Classes of 1973, 1978, 1983, 1988, and 1998 and Iowa Minority Medical Reunion.

UI Carver College of Medicine All-Alumni Tailgate will take place two hours prior to the Iowa vs. Northwestern football game on September 27, 2008. All alumni are invited to attend.

October 2008

UI Carver College of Medicine Distinguished Mentor Award Ceremony and Lecture will take place in Iowa City October 1, 2008.

Iowa Dermatologic Society Meeting will take place October 3-4, 2008 in Iowa City.

Pediatric Symposium will be held on October 3-4, 2008 in Iowa City.

Mini Medical School Program, Welcome Back: Facilitating the return to school for children with cancer will take place on October 14, 2008 in Iowa City.

CME's Oncology Video Conferencing Series on Leukemia will take place October 14, 2008.

2008 Current Topics in Allergy and Clinical Immunology CME course will take place in Coralville, Iowa on October 17, 2008.

30th Annual Health Care Symposium will take place October 17, 2008 in Iowa City.

UI Department of Psychiatry Postgraduate Conference will be held on October 24, 2008 in Coralville, Iowa.

UI Department of Surgery Postgraduate Conference will take place in Iowa City on October 24, 2008.

Advanced Trauma Life Support for Mid-Level Providers will take place in Iowa City on October 30-31, 2008.

November 2008

University of Iowa Health Care Reception will take place in conjunction with the AAMC conference in San Antonio, TX on November 2, 2008.

UI Carver College of Medicine Medical Education Celebration will take place on November 6, 2008 in Iowa City.

University of Iowa Carver College of Medicine Scholarship Weekend will take place in Iowa City, November 7-8, 2008.

24th Annual Hawkeye Sports Symposium will be held in Coralville, Iowa on December 5-6, 2008.

Mini Medical School Program, Juvenile Diabetes for Parents and Kids will take place on December 6, 2008 in Iowa City.

Regional Anesthesia Study Center of Iowa will be held December 6-7, 2008 in Iowa City.

CME's Oncology Video Conferencing Series on Head and Neck Cancers will take place on December 9, 2008.

April 2009

Mini Medical School, Iowa City Series will take place April 7, 14, 21 and 28, 2009 in Iowa City.

June 2009

UI Carver College of Medicine Distinguished Alumni Awards Ceremony will be held in Iowa City, Iowa on June 12, 2009.

UI Carver College of Medicine Alumni Reunion Weekend 2009 honoring the MD Classes of 1949, 1953, 1959, 1963 and 1969 will be held in Iowa City, Iowa on June 12-13, 2009.
