Research Laboratory

Three research centers, the Roy J. Carver Molecular Science Research Center, the Roland and Ruby Holden Cancer Research Laboratories and the Helen C. Levitt Center for Viral Pathogenesis and Disease, are located in the new facility. Some of the laboratories include the Center for Macular Degeneration, Interdisciplinary Research Program in Human Genetics, Center for Functional Genomics of Hypertension, and Holden Comprenhensive Cancer Center programs in molecular mechanisms of metastasis, prostate cancer, neuro-oncology, stem cell biology, molecular epidemiology, radiation biology and experimental therapeutics.
